European social dialogue

As enshrined in the Treaty under Article 138/139, social partners have a specific role to play in the social area, in particular with their right to be consulted by the European Commission before any new initiative in this field. UEAPME, as one of the four horizontal European social partners, is fully involved in this process and in the European Social Dialogue - bipartite social dialogue as well as tripartite concertation with the European Institutions.
